Benefits Design Group was established by Donald Scaro in the year 2000.  The firm specializes in working with individuals and businesses to set and achieve their financial goals.  In 2016, leadership was turned over to Donna Tilden to carry on the work the founder started during his 40+ year career in the financial services industry

The firm specializes in helping clients solve key issues for their business, including plans for highly compensated employees, business continuation plans succession planning and Buy-Sell Agreements.  


Donna Tilden, MBA, ChFC®, CDFA, Principal Securities Registered Representative 

Donna provides a broad range of experience in working with businesses and individuals.  With over 30 years of experience in the financial service industry, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges that business owners and individuals encounter.  Additionally, she is certified as a Divorce Financial Analyst specializing working with individuals and business owners that are contemplating, going through, or have been divorced.  As a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Donna is committed to furthering her knowledge by obtaining an industry respected designation.

For Business Owners, she specializes in providing a consultative approach to managing critical business needs.  Services include Employer provided benefits such as health insurance and ancillary coverage, 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), Non-qualified Deferred Compensation, Key person insurance, Succession Planning, Informal Business Valuations and Buy-Sell Review and works closely with business owners and executives to maximize benefits for employees and key personnel.


Loren E. Machina

Loren focuses on helping individuals, families, and businesses take manageable steps toward financial security.  She specializes in retirement and estate panning and estate equalization plans.  Loren believes that each individual or family's financial goals are unique and require individually tailored solutions.
